Artie and Blaine don't have what you might call a close friendship. They don't talk about personal things: Artie doesn't ask Blaine how he's dealing without Kurt, and Blaine doesn't offer; Blaine doesn't ask about Sugar or Artie's family or his hopes for life after Lima, and Artie doesn't feel the need to share.
But it's close in its own way. It's

Blaine's reaction is perfect. In my head he goes home and showers, scrubbing and scrubbing, feeling victimized in a way he hasn't since Sebastian slushied him and the Warblers turned into evil automatons.
I love that Artie is the conduit of Blaine's discovery of Tina' s treachery. Artie's the voice of reason in this, as reason is not always what people want to hear, but sometimes they really need to hear it. Thanks so much for sharing!

It's interesting to see Blaine through the eyes of someone who's not that close, someone with Artie's director!vision :P it's true that he's soooo eager to please everyone else all the time, so unselfish that it's actually dangerous for him...
And I love that you portrayed Tina with sympathy, while not shying away from just how WRONG her actions were. This is amazing, and if you chose to continue it, I'd eat it up with a spoon! :) hehe

(And on a note unrelated to anything but your name, I had a dream last night that I went back to the Netherlands and couldn't speak a single word of Dutch. I'd even forgotten how to say "Dag" -- until someone showed me their pet rabbits, and then I could make rudimentary conversation. Which leads to the question, What do the rabbits mean?)

I also loved the references to Artie's Blaine-stanning (saying he'd probably make out with Blaine if drunk, the comment about his masculine eyebrows hah, his muse) and how he views his role as a director.
the whole locker room conversation gutted me-- Blaine's trusting open expressions, the way he closes off when he puts the pieces together

And then this happened. I'm not even sure how, but when it occurred to me I was, "YES."
I love Artie's Blaine-stanning and there are so many (happier) Artie-Blaine fics I want to write. I'm glad this one worked for you. :)
