Adventures of a Twink
So I recently leveled out of the 59/60AV bracket with my new red and black epic mounts. Aaaand, I'm thinking about starting another twink when I get to 80 and can fund one, because it was a pretty good time. There's a sense of community between the names you see popping up next to yours regularly. I was lucky enough to have a friend group with me for a while as well, and to be in one of the higher brackets where there is less idiocy. Anyway, below are some screenshots from the life of a 59 prot warrior twink!
Here's me and my sometimes-partner, the shadow priest, hanging out in Org. A /lot/ of being a twink is just hanging out in the city, waiting for queues to pop. I leveled my fishing from 1 to 225 and would have gone higher if I wasn't afraid of the quest experience dinging me out. No Old Crafty though, alas.
Besides fishing, another refuge of the bored battleground player is, of course, the dance party!
Everything's better with levitate.
Here is my famous flag dance. It says "Hey, Alliance, I've got your flag and I don't care!" If any of the other team stopped and danced with me before they tried to retrieve the flag, I might just have let them take it. It would have been funny; 'm just saying.
It would have broken up the monotony at least. Battlegrounds can get so boring! Also, anyone who tells you the best place to afk in Alterac Valley is in the cave is so wrong.
Here's another of my favorite places to afk. While dead. AFKing while dead is highly underrated. Just move out of range of the spirit guide. It keeps you from being a free kill while you hit the bathroom or take a phone call, and it's not like you don't spend a lot of time dead in battlegrounds anyway.
Especially if you have some Noggenfogger or a Halloween wand. Also, keeping the costume is great motivation to stay alive. Alas, my fellow bone pile, I barely knew you!
Here is me and one of the battleground healers having a lovely picnic. (The warlock is desert.) When Labz has our flag (see top), there's not much else to do. Who is Labz, you ask?
This is Labz. Topping the charts, as usual. Very good alliance twink. We knew her, and feared her.
Well, some of us feared her. (Look at the emotes!) I thought she was pure awesome. The day I got a killing blow on her... that was a good day. If I didn't already have a horde DK on her server, I might have rolled one on the alliance side to play a few games on her team. I bet it'd have been fun.
And here is a nice break from the monotony of pvp to go see... more pvp! Did I tell you sitting around in Orgrimmar can get kinda boring? Because it can. I always made sure to go give Vol'Jin a hug after Alliance raids came through... saw them wipe three or four times, and win once. Learn not to raid at peak hours, you silly blue elves!
I am surrounded by Death Knights. What have they got that I don't?
Can they fly? I DON'T THINK SO. Protection warriors for the win!
