Hello all ^^ I have not posted here in an awfully long time, so apologies if this has been answered, I did search through tags but couldn't see anything (albeit I have not used LJ in such a long time I may have failed to search correctly

1) i think it is the hot bar that is lighting up. you can find that under the panels > hot bars. if you don't want it to appear tick them as empty and that ought to make it go away.

i'm not sure about the other questions.....
