I didn't expect this so soon! Have they always done pre-order so early? It does occur to me they might be secretly thinking of bumping up the release to compete with TESO if an early pre-order is indeed out of character. I think I've just not been terribly observant in the past, is all. I'll be doing it if I can scrape the money together.

I agree that's an attempt to compete with ESO. I know I'm not the only one who said they'll probably end up chosing ESO over WoW. I'm not even planning to bother with WoD at the moment...there's really nothing I've heard about it that appeals to me.

I'm on the fence about ESO. I love the Elder scrolls. I've played since Daggerfall. But I've been in beta four times now, and the last two times were server stress tests. I was experiencing stuff not loading in for up to three minutes, which led to a lot of 'death by invisible monster' situations. so I decided I'm going to wait until I see if they have that sorted or not before getting it. Right now, I'm leaning more to WoD. I just have more confidence in it.

Yeah, I was on one of their stress tests and I had a 90 minute wait to log on. Not worth it to me - I can just go play more Skyrim.

Am I right to assume that the physical copy of the Collector's edition will have the Raven Lord mount and the pet as well? Either it doesn't say that on the website, or I'm terribly blind and can't see it!

I don't see any information on the physical Collector's Edition yet. I assume it will have everything the digital editions have and more.

From their post on the website: Warlords of Draenor will also be available as a retail-exclusive Collector’s Edition (in limited quantities), which comes with the in-game extras from the Digital Deluxe Edition along with an array of awesome artifacts from the physical realm, including a hardcover art book, behind-the-scenes Blu-ray/DVD set, Warlords of Draenor mouse pad, and CD soundtrack featuring epic music from the expansion. Check with your local retailer for pre-ordering details. We’ll have more specifics to share on the Collector’s Edition closer to the game’s launch.

Ok, I'm at work and battlenet is blocked here, so this may seem a really stupid question with an obvious answer, but if you preorder now do you get the free boost to 90 now or do you have to wait until the expansion is released? This answer determines whether I beg my fiance to pay for my preorder tonight or if I can wait until I get paid on Friday lol

I am slightly ridiculous, and have not only pre-ordered, but also bought four other level 90 boosts.... But now I can have aaaaalll the healing classes, without having to do the annoying levelling as healz thing, or learning to dps :)

I am also waiting for a physical collectors edition at this time. I bought my first one for mists (even though I have played since vanilla) and really loved it, especially the art book.
