Tentatively Seeking New Server/Guild

Aug 23, 2013 02:34

So, I fear it's finally happened. My little guild may finally be taking its last breath, as my fiancee and I are now officially the sole surviving members. We did one final purge of everyone tonight, save for a few of the founding members who are still "in" the guild purely for nostalgia as they no longer have active accounts, and my BattleTag/ ( Read more... )

May I ask why not join another on your current server? Or would you be opposed to starting new toons on another server? I have toons spread out through many different servers for various different reasons. LOL

But beyond that, I run with a nice group of Hordies on Garrosh. I think most of them are friends; one of them is an old friend of mine, the others I don't know very well. But they're generally a good bunch of accepting guys.

We have an offer to join a friend's guild on Bleeding Hollow, and are considering that, also. I will admit that right now we have no idea what we are going to end up actually doing, but looking for options never hurts. :)

We aren't opposed to alts, either, but my Mage is my main and I love playing her, so finding a home for her where she can be more active again is ideal.

I have my horde 'main' on Zangarmarsh in 'The Insiders'. Server is on CST I think .we are a very friendly guild. Roll an alt and check them out. Do /who The Insiders and ask for an invite.

Also, Proudmoore might be a good server to roll on as well. I think the Taint group of guilds may also work for you. AFAIK there is a more formal recruitment method though - I don't play on that server. I know there are some folks on here that do.

If you can wait for the patch to drop - there will be virtual server merges which will save you some money :)

Good luck :)

I'll go ahead and put our info out there: my guild Natural Order, Hordeside on Farstriders (RP-PVE) is looking to start back up raiding come patch 5.4. We are a friendly, casual, adult, female- and LGBT-friendly guild. You can check out our webpage and app process here: http://natural-order-guild.org

I guess my biggest question to you before I go ahead and fill out your lovely questionnaire is, if we decide to keep our mains on our current realm and level an alt or twelve elsewhere, would there still be a potential place for us? =)

Yes, the people who wrote the questionnaire can be quite silly sometimes. XD

As for keeping mains or alts on other realms, I see absolutely no reason why we would have a problem with that! We don't require our guild members to raid, or do anything else that would require "main" status. About the only caveat we have is that if you have more than one toon in the guild, and you want to raid, then you should stick to just one toon to raid with (rather than trying to gear up multiple alts at the expense of progression.)

I just server transferred from Cairne to Zul'Jin and I am so glad that I did. I cant recommend a specific guild, but trade chat is full of guilds looking for pugs, 25 man seem to be thriving over there and the economy is great. I've logged on at all different hours of the day and there are always people on. My guild started to die on Cairne and gave its death knell on Zuljin. My remaining guildies and I found a guild that had people about as twisted as we were. I hope that you find a good home.
