Sometimes when I'm waiting for a raid, I fly as high as I can and let myself drop as far as I can without hitting the ground before I turn back into a bird (I'm a druid). But I've also done it above bodies of water too. It amuses me. Haha

As a priest I find the highest point I can in a zone and then jump off of it with my levitate going just to see how far i float. Yesterday I was doing Tiller quests and was fighting the Hozen Leader (who's name escapes me) and he punted me off his hill. I automatically hit levitate and ended up halfway across the zone. made me giggle so much.

I do that on my priest, and my mage -- except for my mage , I'll hit slowfall, then mount, and then jump off. It amuses me so very, very much.

Slow fall jumps is how I fell off the east coast hills of howling fjord. Without a flying mount, it was very annoying to get back around the sloped coast. I think we eventually teleported out.

This is the BEST way of going to the Darkmoon Faire, hands down.

Yeah, I landed in a hole once doing that. I tried to port out, but I was still "moving" so I had to as a GM for help.

Didn't stop me. Yesterday I jumped off Neverest. I made it into the Steppes. /thumbsup
