Grats on the pets! One of these days, I will get a hunter high enough to tame Loque. *is more of a melee player*
Also, YAY! Another snow leopard lover! I follow a photographer on dA that does regular tours of his local zoo and I swear, I have all of his snow leopard photos in my faves. xD
They have giant paws, HYUGE tails, pretty spots, and such fluffy coats that if they weren't wild carnivorous beasties, I would want to hug one so much. I can at least spam the /hug emote on Loque, even if Michela isn't a very huggy person in-character.
YES and YES and YES and YEEEEES. ROFL Whenever I'm with my sister's hunters while she has Loque out, I can't resist /pet or /hug, at least once. xD The only problem with leveling a hunter that high, at the moment, is doing the Outlands, which I just finished on my DK and am in the middle of with a second druid. >_< And that's just on my primary server. None of my characters on other servers are anywhere near that high. :">
Once I got Michela to Outlands and got the courage to use Dungeon Finder, it was just random dungeon after random dungeon to clear the BC content and get to Northrend. (And past that, I did an equal amount of questing and dungeon running to get to the coveted level 76.)
I was honestly SHOCKED at how mostly-civil people were in the dungeons I ran. People would congratulate someone when they dinged, there wasn't any hate speech, and there were actually some surprisingly fun conversations. WoW is a confusing, contradictory place sometimes.
congrats!!! Loque was one of two animals that I saw and immediately went "want" for, when my hunter was just a wee thing and I was looking over my guy's shoulder... the other being warp stalkers. (they just look so adorably goofy... LOL) I'm almost maxed out on the pets she can have, and Loque is *always* on her. *squeeeeeee*
I think that warp stalkers look like big scaly bulldogs, with the goofiest run animation. And VERY pretty colors. I've got one on my belf, although none on Michela just yet.
And Loque is never leaving my on-call roster now. Ever.
gratz on the tames! i think taming loque is possibly the most exiting thing we can experience. i turned mine into a girl when i tamed it, too! :D [she's named Darcie, after my friend who wanted me to name "one of the important pets" after her. hahaha]
Just about everyone I've talked to has had the same heart palpitations/forgetting where one of their buttons is during the tame, and a huge case of post tame shaking once Loque has been successfully tamed. (I did need to stand up and walk some of it off!)
Several days later and I still have a giant ^__________^ plastered all over my face when I think about my lovely new Loque pet.
*shamelessly butts in* I was the same way when Aeonaxx pinged on NPCScan on my main. I'd been camping him on and off for a few months and was about to give up for the night when all of a sudden NPCScan cheered and I knew it wasn't Xariona 'cause she'd already pinged. I was flailing and trying not to squeal with glee because it was like 2 in the morning, and I share a room with my sister, who was asleep at the time. Once I downed him and learned the mount, I wandered around the main part of the house to try and clear away the rest of the adrenaline so I could go to sleeeeep xD
I love this kitty, my hunter is getting closer and closer to being the right level to tame it every day... The screenshot at the bottom is also particuallarly fantastic what with the cubs happy :D face.
Thanks! I love that cub daily the screen shot is from; taking my cub to all the different snow drifts and having him/her pounce on them and catch rabbits. I've never gotten that daily on any of my other characters, but constantly get it on Michela. It leads me to characterize her cub as being very playful and pounce-happy.
