So I'm having an awful lot of fun tanking with my level 70 paladin and a guildie asks if I'm still using the lion's head shield I was rockin' on the armory. I just happened to be and he old me that it was the only model of its kind

I don't have any suggestions for specific items, but I do have a suggestion for a great addon that is helpful for building outfits, especially if you want to build one around a specific item. It's called MogIt, and it basically lets you browse all of the items in the game based on type, and other filters, like level and source that you apply. You can then save the item to a "set" and continue on browsing the other slots, with a preview on your character. It's so awesome. xD

Anyways, best of luck putting together something awesome. It really is a great looking shield, especially for a paladin. =D

Crap! I did Nagrand with my 85 pallie and I guess I picked the bracers instead of the shield. *pout* She was ret at that point, so that's probably why. That looks awesome and good luck finding a good set to go with it!

This 'Righteous armor recolor' http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=384 would work well if you're going for something subtle.
