Is it worth keeping a 4-piece Raid Finder tier set if you get a nominal upgrade? I picked up Gloves of Liquid Smoke but I currently have the 4-piece ilevel 384 holy/disc set. I know it doesn't have optimal stats for a priest, but if the situation comes up again?

thanks!

If you are raiding, I would say that it is definitely worth keeping the 4-piece bonus, especially if you are holy. I even downgraded from heroic tier 12 to raid finder for the set bonus. I haven't really been disc that much lately, but I haven't bothered switching any gear for the times I have used that spec.

Generally I feel that the tier bonuses need to be fairly useless in order not to get them, or the piece you switch in must be fairly amazing. The gloves that you picked up aren't that big an upgrade, so I would definitely keep the set for now.

I think the four piece for disc is a lot stronger than it is for holy. It's not bad for holy, especially when you've got lots of AoE damage (like heroic Yor'sahj black/red/yellow phases or heroic Ultraxion), but if you're not doing any heroic modes than it doesn't really matter too much anyway. If you're only doing RF, it doesn't really matter either way. If you're doing normals, I'd keep the bonus.
