Naga problems

I just switched to the Razer naga after the left-click finally went out on my Logitech G500. I'm still trying to get used to it - it's so much lighter than the G500 (you can add weights to the Logitech mouse, and I had) that it's really throwing me off, on top of the learning curve for all the buttons. I actually had to set the DPI lower so that I ( Read more... )

It's faulty hardware ...at least that's what they told me when I got a replacement for my (Much less expensive than a naga mouse.)

I bought a naga once. I returned it the next day. I know they're nice but I have little kid hands. No really. I had to buy a micro controller to play on my friend's xbox because the controllers were too big. (The 360 is fine though) So I usually sit around here with a microsoft laser mouse...they last forever, have 5 buttons and a scroll wheel..

If you do like everything else about the naga, contact Razer? Maybe they have advice so you don't have to go exchange it.

I've had my Naga for almost two years now, and I'm pretty sure I had this problem once. I think it's a software issue. Every issue that I've had with my Naga went away on it's own after a day or so, it's very strange.

I'm not sure of a fix for this as it just sort of.. fixed itself, but I know I tried uninstalling and then re-installing the Naga software. Sorry I can't be of more help! I love my Naga.. can't go back to any other mouse now.

That doesn't sound normal. I've had my Naga for a year and a half and it doesn't do that. If you've only just switched you should be able to get a replacement. But if you're already not enjoying the Naga for other reasons, maybe just get a refund and go back to the mouse you prefer.

It's not that I don't enjoy the naga, per se. I've only had it two days and am still within the frustrating learning curve.

I have my issues with it - the placement of the back/forward buttons, the fact that my G500 had a button that I could hit and would unlock the scrollwheel for hyper-fast scrolling which makes this one seem slow in comparison...just little things that I'm sure I could adapt to, but, Yeah, I didn't thinkt he scroll catching was 'normal'.

It does sound like either your drivers are having issues, or it could even potentially be just that it's crapped out and you need a new one. I have not had a lot of good experience with Razer mice.

I am using one their mechanical keyboards and so far, it's been okay, but I just have rotten luck with their mice, so I avoid them now. Right now I'm using Steel Series, which so far, has been really good.
