'Insane in the Membrane' achievement question

So I just reactivated my US account after more than a year away from the game, and I was about 1/4th of the way through 'the insane' grind (I'd even levelled a rogue to 70 just for the junkboxes). However, since I haven't been paying attention to the requirements, I was wondering if anybody who has finished the grind recently - within the last 3

you are not required to have these reps simultaneously and with the changes to the game in the most recent patches i don't think it's POSSIBLE to have them both at the same time.

that's my armory, you can see my reps. exalted with steamwheedle, hated with the pirates. i am currently wearing "the insane" title. earned almost a year ago now.

I'm not too familiar with the Insane title, but I also have heard that you do not have to be exalted with both at the same time.

I feel you about accidentally flying into a town that hates you. I finally got back to neutral with Booty Bay and Ratchet after doing Bloodsail Admiral, but I am still hated by Everlook and Gadgetzan... and I guess I hadn't flown into Gadgetzan recently and found out the hard way that they moved the flight path right smack into the middle of the town (used to be able to run away as soon as I landed and get away from the one or two bruisers by the flight path).

You can have them simultaneously by grinding mobs for booty bay to get it back up after killing them all to become a bloodsail admiral. So it's possible, but I don't think it's necessary.

What I'm wondering though is do you do the steamweedle cartle reps first? Then you go to the phased event, in which, you kill a lot of booty bay goblins for the bloodsail rep? Or do you dothe bloodsail first? I'm not sure how to aquire the quest yet, since I haven't done it yet and I'm not even 85.
