Hello everyone! It's slightly less intimidating to post here, so I thought I'd bother you all! If something like this isn't allowed, let me know - I'm sorry about it haha.

Anyway, I want to get back into WoW again, but I always have problems finding a guild. Let's face it - I'm really, really shy, even when being shy is kinda stupid because, uh, ( Read more... )

I play on Wyrmrest Accord. I came to the server because I was initially curious about the whole RP world. What I found is that I'm truly an RP player at heart. I like raiding and dungeons and PvP, but I love having an actual character, not just a toon. Wyrmrest is great because there is raiding and PvP, but there's more immersion in the world, IMO. Also, I feel like RP servers attract nicer people. (and before nayone gripes, I've been on PvP and PvE, too.)

My guilds: My A-side guild I found through the guild finder. My H-side guild I found through this community!

If you're interested in Horde-side, you can roll a baby toon on WrA and check us out. We're called Vindicated. I'm an officer (my toon is Étain), but any of us would be more than happy to tell you more.

Y-your icon! /flailed with glee.

I've been on an RP server twice, and I really liked it, albeit I was kind of horrified at the idea of RPing. (Which is stupid, because I used to do that all the time with various other fandoms and such, I guess because I feel lacking in the WoW-lore area.)
I really love the idea of messing around on Wyrmrest, so! I made a toon (belf Rogue hurr) named Benvit, and after work/classes I'll be online again tomorrow (Thursday). :D
I really like the idea of being able to progress in-game as well as kind of...learn more about WoW lore and characters. (And mature people? Maybe? I love the older/mature people on the Horde side, but it's no fun if everything's a pissing match, which I kinda notice a lot on other servers.)

I'm on Thorium Brotherhood because it's the one my hubbie's friend was on. We had really no intention of playing WoW, we just tried to to make his friend happy and now it's been at least two years.

I found my current guild by not being able to raid with the last guild I was with. I had been in a guild for a while that raided on weekends, but a new job put an end to my progression. I got an itch to raid and Trade was looking for a healer for one boss. I thought it would fulfill my itch, so I threw myself out there. It went well, the person they were waiting for signed on and I never thought I'd hear from them again. Weirdly enough, I think it might have been as much as two weeks later, the same guild asked if I wanted to join them again. I ran with them a couple times, really liked them all and joined when they extended the invitation. It's been silly, casual raiding and fun ever since. :)

My guild and server were a bit of a random stumble. Started on a PvP server at a friend's request, but between constantly getting ganked and her ignoring me for her boyfriend, I quickly grew tired.

Rolled a character on Nagrand simply because it's one of the prettiest zones in the game and got a random guild invite pretty quickly. It turns out it was a guild starting fresh, so my boyfriend and I decided to help out and moved out 85's to the server. Now we're with the guild - which is very casual and very friendly with helpful peoples, making great friends and we're just starting to raid once a week. Certainly always welcoming of new people, so drop by and say hi to The Night Feeders anytime you like! :-)

I play on Earthen Ring EU at the moment, but have been on other servers before. I started on Ghostlands, which I joined simply because it was the recommended one at the time I signed up. I was there for about 3 years, then I quit playing for ages, until some RL friends tempted me back to the game. So I joined again, this time on Silvermoon, but the atmosphere turned sour, so my RL friends moved over to ER and I followed, which is why I'm there now :)

My current guild was found by my RL friends from Silvermoon and I just joined because they were there, but I love it now. I've been in tons of guilds over time though, I moved around a lot on Ghostlands because of drama, but have only been in two since then, with my mains anyway.

I realize my guild progression for my last 2 guilds is probably confusing. It goes like this.

3 officers leave to make new guild. I do not follow them. > after a bit of an attempt to rebuild, GL and others ninja transfer, still stick with guild a little > people are slowly migrating over to the guild the 3 officers made, since attempts to rebuild and recruit are not working. I eventually go over to the other guild as well.
