Idk, it's just the playstyle that's so boring! She also will be dropping Herb perhaps, at max level, because tauren druid herbing is so OP.
I will say it's not so painful, now that I've rescued her from fail...I used to not be able to kill things. She kills things handily and quickly now that I replaced all the INT gear in Outlands (she was really my FIRST character).
She tanks at low levels, because I couldn't really get Ret and I heard tanking is easy...but my DK (who's not listed because I'm not leveling her alone) was a tank in Wrath and something about it...I'm just not good at it! I get so on edge I end up with migraines. :/
This. But I'm biased toward melee classes. I like smashing things in the face.
And also, pally tanking is apparently a lot easier than other tanking classes. It's the only class I have tanked, so I can't say for that, but I love tanking on mine. Especially if you really learn to use everything in your arsenal to your advantage.
Alts are for having fun! :D I said Warlock because it seems the most established and FUN already, but either the Warlock or the Hunter imo - you're already having fun with them, roll with it!
You have a great point. Idk I felt some bit of guilt because even though I've rescued my warrior from fail, she's not really fun? I don't think tanking is good for my health tbh, even on the DK. But she's the only character never maxed.
In terms of professions and such, I would like a Enchanter or Jewelcrafter, but paladin has made me antsy every time I logged on her, where the warlock is so much fun!
It's a weird experience not having a heal spec though.
Tanking's pretty stressful for me, too - I don't mind it if I'm with all guildies, but as soon as there's a pug around I tense up and it stops being fun. It's ok to leave a character to get a little dusty and have fun with other things; maybe you'll get back to it eventually. Of course, I couldn't get a warrior past 30; melee dps isn't really my thing.
I swore I'd never level another paladin after my first one - what a nightmare! Sure, he was fun once he was maxed, but looking back I wonder if it was worth all the hours it took getting him leveled, especially since he's not my main.
I hear you on the weirdness of not being able to heal - my first 4 85s were all healer main spec lol. And then I leveled a mage... It's kind of relaxing! As easy as I find healing, it's a refreshing change.
I'm so tempted but after it all, sometimes I'm like, "I don't like leveling, like having leveled." But I do like leveling most of the time and I like it to be fun.
