i think all in all it looks pretty good. you're going to want to go for agility stuff so the ring, belt, pants, and gloves should be replaced. you're also going to want throwing knives instead of a crossbow. there appears to be a good one available from a zul'farrak dungeon quest.

Don't worry overmuch about gear, imo. You're 44, just go out and quest and do some dungeons to get gear. If there's a specific piece you think REALLY needs to be replaced, then do some searching on Wowhead and see if you can find a quest or a dungeon where it has a chance of dropping.

Okay, thank you! I am trying harder to do more dungeons, they are a bit...overwhelming at first.

I think she looks fine... I do tend to take my toons shopping once every 10 levels or so for any affordable deals out of the auction house. If stuff is out of my price range though, I just don't sweat it until I get a drop somewhere.

the gear on the left isn't so bad but... anything without agility on it needs to go. this means your gloves (you aren't a tank, you don't need dodge), your belt and pants (you don't even have mana, you don't need intellect or spirit), and your ring with strength would be better replaced by a ring with agility. using a thrown weapon for your off-hand only really matters, to my (albeit limited) rogue knowledge, when you have Fan of Knives, for area-of-effect damage, but that didn't used to be until level 80 - i'm not sure if they changed it.

also, your off-hand sword is a tanking sword, i'd look into getting one with agility if possible, but keep in mind that the damage-per-second value is important too. make sure you are using poisons on both weapons, and if my rogue knowledge is correct, you usually want a "fast" (less than 2 speed) off-hand, because of poisons, but again, shaky on rogue things.

Nothing to add in the way of advice, since others have already given you the necessaries, but I just had to say your icon cracked me up for a good minute. xD
