A friend in my guild started sending me things that were appropriate to his toon's class/nature - we're not on an RP server (though sometimes I wish we were!), but he just does it to be silly. XD

One of our tanks always brings random (in-game) alcohol to raids, so anytime I find different types of drinks, I always send them to her.

I'm rather well-known for my collection of flavour items. I've even gone so far as to post a "want ad" on my realm forum for the items I didn't have yet. Back when I was more social (and before my guild collapsed and turned on me), my friends used to send me stuff that they would find.

Now it's mostly my roommate the rogue who sends me stuff, cause I'm always bugging him about the pickpocket goodies.

A couple years back I was fairly upset because my girlfriend left me right before Valentine's day...so a dear friend who wanted to cheer me up but wasn't going to be online (and lives on the other side of the country) mailed me flowers, chocolates, and some cooked talbuk steaks, along with a really sweet letter about how he was "taking me out to a steak dinner for valentine's day".

Only time I smiled that day :3 I still have the letter saved in my bank

Shortly after I gave birth to my daughter, one of my in game friends who I call Pops, sent me some Dwarven Baby Booties. I also had another guildie send me the Steamy Romance Novel. Why? Who knows. He's a strange individual and we don't ask why he does things. ^_^
