I think it's timed on keystrokes, not automatic gestures.

WIthout some kind of keystroke software that will hit a key for you periodically, you will get logged out even if you are autoattacking something.

I don't really think there is anything not against TOS.

My plan is to go home, log into the queue, go run my errands and hit the gym (about 2 hours) and hopefully be almost in.

It sounds like your queue might not be over by the time you get back anyway, in which case it wouldn't be a big deal.
