Realm First Anything.

I'm getting ready to start preparing even more for my journey to Realm First. I'm going for both 85 druid & leather worker.

I also know that there are other wowladian's who are going for Realm First something as well. A while ago there was a post that had some tips and tricks in it, but I can't find it. So I figured I'd make a new one.

250g sounds about right from the beta for old world flying, for the Alliance the vendor next to the SW flightmaster, I'm guessing Ogri for the Horde.

For first aid, I'd see if you can get guildies to send you any and all cloth they get if they don't need it themselves.

I got realm first 80 shaman in Wrath. FWIW, my experience was that it's not so competitive that you can't get some sleep-- or at least it wasn't last time-- I got there in 3 days' time. Of course, I was not trying for realm first 80 period, but I wasn't too far behind the guy who got that.

I didn't use dailies, but I had leftover food & flasks from raiding, and yes I was in full out T6+Sunwell gear at the time so not having to make any gear choices helped. I raided Naxx in that gear for a while. It's my understanding that gear will be upgraded as a matter of course this time around, so I recommend scoping out some gear choices ahead of time via Wowhead if you can stomach the spoilers.

The biggest thing is avoid soloing. I got realm first 80 shaman as resto because I spent the vast majority of time leveling with two to three DPS. My closest shaman competitor leveled as enh and was a good half a day behind me because he tried to solo all ten levels.

Hrm, the avoid soloing thing is something I didn't even think of. I wonder if I can nab some guildies into helping me.

The sleep thing also helps, because I was worried about not getting enough sleep.

I didn't sleep a LOT, but it was definitely not like I was up for 72 hours straight either. Probably did about 5-6 hours twice (and then crashed immediately after I was done!)

Haha, the crash is the one thing I'm not looking forward too. I can deal with 5 or less hours of sleep though.

My friend is trying for realm first inscription. We'll try to buy all the herbs on the AH and have friends with 80 herbalism farm the AH but we'll see. I'm hoping we'll be the only ones but...we probably won't be the only ones.

I think that as long as you guys have the gold it shouldn't be to much of a problem. Since I'm sure that mats and stuff at first will be super high.
