For a holy pally, make sure you get Beacon of Light ASAP. It will help you out so much for multi-target healing, because otherwise, we're kind of SOL for a lot of the aoe damage being thrown out. Your talents so far look okay, although I'd take the points out of improved concentration aura - it's mostly a PvP talent. I'd spec into Improved Lay on Hands - a reduced CD is nice for leveling and for dungeon use, the 20% reduced physical damage is nice as well. You'll eventually want some points in improved blessing of wisdom as well, but it's not as crucial ( ... )

Even at 80, I still use FoL allot unless I know or see the tank is taking massive damage, then I switch to holy light. (Or if a clothie drew agro but could take it till holy light could cast)

At your level, there really isn't much to do other than FoL and the HL as needed. When you get high enough to have holy shock and beacon, then that's just two more possibilities. I keep beacon on the tank at all times, use holy shock when either I need a fast top-up or we're moving around. Pally healing is pretty simple. :)

Like the above posters, I think your holy spec is doing fine. As you continue, you'll be able (and want) to get some more Crit and Haste in there with the Spellpower and mp5 aids, but the gear you get will carry it automatically. Don't turn your nose up at an otherwise good piece of gear if it has Spirit. The mana and health regen are always goof to have in your background. (This doesn't mean you should drop everything for Whale gear.) When you can, get the plate to upgrade the leather and mail pieces you're wearing, but only if everything else is also equal to or better than your current gear. There are lots of places where the damage reduction from the armor can save your bacon. I say this the day after taking a mail 264 drop in ICC because it was otherwise a nice upgrade from my plate feet. Yes, I will upgrade to higher plate when I can, but for now I can take the armor loss for the rest of the stats I boosted ( ... )
