Hi everyone, the officers would like to have a discussion about DotA raiding for the rest of the xpac. We've hit a bit of a slump recently, and would like to get people's opinions on where to go with DotA raids from here. Please don't think this post is just for current raiders, the changes in the upcoming patch have a lot of potential to help DotA

My hope is that I'd be able to catch up my gear to be able to flex raid with the guild. I'm also currently only available every OTHER Friday, so that's one of the reasons I don't sign up. DotH raids also conflicted with time for DotA raids (I believe), so I didn't sign up on Saturday nights often.

At least in the past I think DotA raids and DotH raids did not quite conflict but there would be maybe 30-60 minutes between raids, so it could be tough for people like Kurai and I who attended both to make sure we ate dinner and got a break from the computer and stuff!

LFR is about my preferred difficulty level these days, and I like the scheduling flexibility. I don't like raiding with strangers and people who can be jerks. I was really hoping DotA would do flex Siege. A single evening of flex Siege on Sat or Sun would work great for me.
I'd prefer to keep to just BB people, but I'm open to others. If we recruit outside of friends/family, though, perhaps have some sort of vote system where we can decide if we'd like to raid with someone again?

I also can't do the current raid days.. not a big deal as I raid else where, but hate seeing DotA raids not have enough people.. so if there were raid days where I could attend, I would definitely gear up Miikah (or even Aeryth when she is hits 90) to at least help out or come to flex raids. I just haven't put much effort into my toons as of yet since I knew I wouldn't be able to raid (well more fill in when you needed extra people)

It will end up being naturally beneficial to have a larger, diversified roster for flex, because that offers you more class/spec buffs, more raid CDs, and more people having fun together.
