  1. I'm finally, finally caught up on my friendslist. I didn't comment as much as I could have, but suffice it to say that I have great love for everybody, and I hope it wasn't 102 degrees in your neck of the woods today, and when can we take a road trip and come visit you, or vice versa?

  2. Much as I love Will Smith -- and I do -- on about the 18th ( Read more... )

i think you should be watching these movies with me! like the ones you want to see. also, i need to see both seasons of lost now. i may have time to be obsessed with it next semester, although between an extremely full school schedule and working my ass off and maybe still being in a serious relationship... but still! i need to know what all the fuss is about. how much longer do you think they can keep up this island business?

We can give you tapes! We have the first season on DVD and the second season on tape, so even if you can't watch it on the teeveeeeeeee you can still watch it with me!

I think we can probably stay on the island for at least two more seasons. At this point it would be kind of hard to leave the island.

As to the other things, you must to come up here again, precious! The Dundee or somewhere in Lincoln might pick up The Proposition, but I dunno about Prairie Home Companion and I highly doubt they'd get District 13.

So. About this DaVinci Code. Saw it with mom yesterday. And heeeee-Ian! So much love. Also, the butler was named Remy, which I have heard before, and I don't remember where, but the minute I found that out, I knew he'd be evil. Heh. *seasoned movie-goer* Also, oh Paul! My heart loins! (Did you notice how it was really hot when he said "Cripple"? That wasn't just me, was it? Anyway, based on this and Mandy Patinkin, I have decided that it's just really cool to say "cripple." I don't even know.) But then there was the one part in the movie when Paul died and Ian got arrested, and it was just all downhill from there. Though several of the shots were very pretty, yes.

Hiiiiiiiii.

HIIIIIII.

Yis yis it is actually kind of fun, no? Hard as it is to admit. I still don't get mcee"'s thing for the Hanks, but OMG IAN.

Paul Bettany = hot in pretty much any instance, it would seem. I think I'll put on A Knight's Tale today.

(hiiiiiii.)

I'm just starting Lost Season 2 tonight on the repeat cycle. Girl I carpool with is dying for me to become of the "Lost Experience" that's going on right now. We're listening to the audio book of Bad Twin (Amazon writes: Bad Twin is the highly-anticipated new novel by acclaimed mystery writer Gary Troup. Bad Twin was delivered to Hyperion just days before Troup boarded Oceanic Flight 815, which was lost in flight from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles in September 2004. He remains missing and is presumed dead. )

Yeah, I heard about the book. Did you guys do the whole Hanso thing, too? It's pretty crazy.

We Tivo all the episodes but now we're running out of space, so we have to go back and record them onto tapes -- which means I get to watch the season all over again. Whee!
