right? what???? i was expecting the kind of fun goofy romp typical of that kind of movie, instead i got...whatever that was. that acting, man. it made me retroactively appreciate every mediocre performance i have ever seen in a movie, because at least it was not THAT.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is EXCELLENT, you should definitely look into it! the delightful and occasionally slice-of-life adventures/coming of age story of an intrepid and excellent lady, a.k.a. all you could ever want, also it is super gorgeous.

LMAO, oh my God. CAMP. God that movie is terrible. But in the most delicious way. I have such a weak spot for terrible terrible movies. But so many hilarious moments. THE FRAMED PICTURE OF SONDHEIM - "Is that your Dad?". And a bunch of theater queens singing Losing my Mind on the bus. I DIE.

Gah, what class are you taking that you get to read HP for?!

lol the sondheim picture. the clear highlight of the film. i usually love terrible movies, and especially terrible movies that involve show tunes, but for some reason Camp and i just could not get along. maybe i'll finish it someday, ahahahahahhahahha. it was an experience, that's for sure.

"How Kids Saved the World," which is kind of a dumb class because the professor is really disorganized and the people in the class are kind of annoying, but it was a good excuse to reread Deathly Hallows and His Dark Materials and I got to read the Abhorsen trilogy for the first time, also I am writing my final essay on motherhood in the HP universe (a.k.a. "why no working mothers, JKR???"), so whatev. I'LL ROLL WITH IT. aw, HP. <33333
