went to carnegie for my interview. wandered around with gram and gramps. it was really fun. there were people hanging out in the quad, and they were all really nice. some boys playing baseball. grandpa could've shown them a few things. then there was this fence, like one of those big cement fences. it was painted with a sign for "pikes", some

Ah..Fencing... one of my own favorite sports... and one of the hardest to get into cuz so many others want in it too... I was good enough to win tournaments in high school, but not good enough to even take a class in college.. go figure...

I know we haven't gotten to know each other very well. Being an old fogey made it hard for each of us to find a common ground... other than Cai (nuf said). But I do care a lot for you. Since I can't do anything else, I am at least praying in my way that you are able to get through all the obstacles and get into CMU. It's a great school!! Best of Luck young woman!!
