Ok the source isn't the most reliable one but, acording to The Sun Alan Smith won't get a new contract....:'(

*sniffles with you* I just can't believe United would ever consider selling him, he's awsome! both as a striker and a midfielder, which he played alot when he first arrived at the club... He wants to stay and that's good, just hope the club wakes up and gives him a new contract!
