Another update today! So, long story short, I wanted to do something nice for my friends (my fellow members of Worrdafartsy) so I decided to write them gift drabbles. There's no real occasion, I just felt like doing it is all! I wrote these in a BIG hurry, so they aren't proof-read or well thought out or anything like that, so my apologies for the poor quality of them. I just felt the need to write on a whim. I hope my friends enjoy!

Main Characters: Ness, Paula, Jeff
Ness had done it... he had won, fair and square. Not that it was ever a competition in which the victor would claim her as his prize, but Jeff still couldn't help feeling defeated as he watched Paula, whom he had had an unrequited crush on, rush over to Ness and hug him fondly. Returning successfully to present-day Saturn Valley was a tremendous relief after the defeat of Giygas and Jeff had hoped that when all was said and done, Paula might consider giving him a chance or maybe even hug him upon returning. It was a foolish hope, Jeff knew, but seeing her run into Ness' arms was all he needed to see to know where her heart was. Ness was strong, heroic, cool and charming... everything Jeff was not. In the end, Jeff wasn't at all surprised to see Paula look at Ness with adoring eyes and with a long, low sigh, Jeff was finally able to accept that Ness liked Paula and Paula liked him back.
His insides twisted painfully as Poo bid them all a respectful farewell, yet Jeff knew that the pain he was feeling inside was not entirely due to saying goodbye to one of his friends. Jeff joined Ness and Paula in waving goodbye as Poo disappeared from sight and he watched in awe as three presents fell from the sky as an effect of PSI Farewell. When Poo was gone, Jeff became brutally aware of the fact that he was alone once more with Ness and Paula and he shifted nervously in place, not quite knowing how to word his own farewell. Devastated as he was at the harsh realization that his crush on Paula would end unhappily, he couldn't help feeling happy for Ness and Paula deep down. Ness was, after all, a very good friend and if Jeff could not win Paula's heart, he at least felt strangely happy that they had won each other's hearts. Summoning all the inner strength he had, Jeff put on a smile and stepped forward to address Ness and Paula.
"Paula, Ness... it was great to hang out with you guys. It really was. I'm glad that I had the chance to use some of the theories I have been studying. It's remarkable. If... just maybe... Well, if you two get hitched some day, maybe I'll be the one that fixes your broken electronic appliances." Jeff shrugged awkwardly at even the mention of the possibility that Ness and Paula may one day get married, but he had to admit that the thought was slightly inspiring. When he saw Ness and Paula's cheeks both redden, he decided to change the subject for all of their sakes. "I'm going to stay here for a while and see if I can learn more from Dr. Andonuts. I mean, from my dad. So, it looks like this is goodbye for now, my friends."
With one more smile and wave at Ness and Paula, Jeff walked slowly away from them and stood by his father's side. Behind him, he could hear Paula ask Ness if he would escort her home and Jeff took a deep breath, allowing the last remnants of his crush on Paula to wither away. As Jeff turned around to watch Ness and Paula leave Saturn Valley, Paula excused herself from Ness for a moment and approached Jeff with a kind smile.
"I'm really going to miss you, Jeff," she began sweetly. "You've been a wonderful friend and I... I just wish you all the best."
Paula stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Jeff for a friendly hug and, as she pulled away, she kissed him gently on the cheek. Jeff felt his chest swell with emotion and he brought his hand to his cheek to feel the spot where she had kissed him. Even after Paula joined back with Ness, Jeff's cheek felt warm where her lips had pressed against it and he couldn't help grinning stupidly as he watched Ness and Paula leave Saturn Valley hand in hand.

Main Characters: Matt, Mohinder
"Mohinder, is that you?" Matt shouted from the kitchen, setting his stirring spoon down on the spoon rest.
"Who else would it be, exactly?" Mohinder asked with a chuckle, removing his coat and placing it on the coat rack by the door.
Matt stepped out of the kitchen and eyed Mohinder with a playful glare, resting his hands on his hips.
"You're just back early, is all," Matt said. "You could have been an intruder for all I knew."
"And even if I were, you hardly seem prepared to do anything about it," Mohinder said, still chuckling. "Your gun is in your briefcase, your pepper spray is in the nightstand drawer... hell, you don't even have a kitchen knife at the ready. Oh, and your 'World's Greatest Dad' apron doesn't look the least bit intimidating Were I an intruder, you'd be in quite a bit of trouble."
"Ah, yes, because there's no way in hell I'd be able to force an intruder to turn around and walk away," Matt said sarcastically. "Or, better yet, force him to wait patiently by the door while I grab my badge and some cuffs."
"Always have an answer for everything, don't you, Matthew?" Mohinder said with a grin. Matt nodded and retired back to the kitchen to resume his cooking while Mohinder followed close behind.
"What are you doing back so early?" Matt asked, stirring the spaghetti that was boiling on the stove.
"The parent-teacher conference went so well it was laughable," Mohinder answered. "Molly's teacher said she's doing very well, she never acts out in class... basically nothing we didn't already figure. I had to hold back a laugh when Mrs. Georgina told me that Molly's marks in Geography are higher than any student she's ever taught. There wasn't much to discuss, really, so it was a fairly quick and painless conference."
"So where's Molly?" Matt asked curiously, looking away from the boiling pot to look at Mohinder.
"She met up with a friend of hers while we were at the school and she was invited to spend the night. She's doing so well in school that I allowed her to go. She deserves a night off," Mohinder answered. "I think we deserve a night off, too," he added with a smirk, raising an eyebrow.
Matt dropped the spoon he had been using and it fell unnoticed onto the kitchen floor as he stared at Mohinder, half-shocked and half-pleased. Mohinder simply smirked at Matt and began walking down the hallway, shouting back to Matt as he went.
"I'll be in the bedroom if you care at all. Unless, of course, you'd rather finish cooking dinner."
"Fuck dinner!" Matt shouted, turning off the stove. Stumbling to remove his apron and the rest of his attire, Matt hurried down the hall and into the bedroom where, sure enough, Mohinder was already laying down. Spaghetti could wait... Mohinder could not.

Main Characters: Sylar, Maya
Suddenly, the world seemed so full of wonderful possibilities. The weeks prior to this moment were filled with doubt and anger but now... now, things were different. Sylar grasped the empty can of spinach in his hand and admired it as though it were a trophy.
"I'm back," he said to himself, allowing the words to fill him up with a wild triumph.
For weeks he had been powerless, forced to survive by his own cunning and charm. It had been by a stroke of good fortune that he crossed paths with Maya, despite how unbearable it was for him to endure her presence. He had truly relished the feeling of shooting her in the chest after she had served her purpose, but he felt a sick sense of satisfaction in watching her be revived. This not only meant that the cheerleader's blood was a proper cure, but it also meant that he would have the pleasure of killing Maya again, this time having an opportunity to take her unique powers with him. He suddenly felt a hunger to kill; a thirst for blood that could only be quenched by Maya.
Slowly he rose from the ground, staring down the street with his ears alert. Maya was close, he knew. It had only been moments earlier that he escaped Dr. Suresh's lab to inject himself with the cheerleader's blood and Maya couldn't have gone far. It only took a moment for his extra sensitive hearing to be restored and he stood quietly on the spot, listening hard for any trace of Maya's voice.
"You're not safe here, Maya," Sylar could hear Mohinder say. It was difficult to tell how far away they were, but they couldn't be more than a block away from him, perhaps even still in the lab. His face lit up in a twisted smile as he walked quickly down the road, feeling more powerful with every step.
"Elle Bishop is taking Molly with her back to the Company and I think you should join them," Mohinder continued. "You both should be safer there. In the mean time, I've got to try to find Sylar before it's too late. Who knows how dangerous he can be if he injects himself with Claire's blood." Sylar chuckled darkly at these words and continued on his way toward Mohinder's voice. If he only knew... but of course, he would know in no time at all.
As Sylar neared the door of the lab, he could hear footsteps from within, even without the use of his heightened sense of hearing.
"Come on," he could hear a woman's voice say. "I'll explain everything to Daddy once we get back."
The door opened and a blonde woman stepped out, followed by Molly Walker and Maya. Mohinder, it appeared, had already left the lab. Sylar licked his lips and stepped away from the shadows where he had been hidden, causing Elle, Molly, and Maya to jump from shock.
"Gabriel!" Maya shouted angrily, tensing up at the sight of him. Even now Sylar could see her eyes begin to glaze over, yet he remained calm.
"Now, now, Maya... you wouldn't want to do anything to hurt these innocent young ladies, would you?" Sylar said smoothly, gesturing toward Molly and Elle. "The cheerleader's blood is gone. If you kill them, there's no bringing them back. Do you really want that on your conscience?"
"At least I have a conscience, you heartless..." Maya began, but Sylar simply held up a hand and began clenching his fingers as though wrapping them around Maya's throat. Maya instantly began sputtering as he choked her from afar and her eyes widened in fear at the hungry expression on Sylar's face.
"Let her go!" Molly shouted through tears, looking terrified. Sylar released Maya and turned on Molly, smirking as he looked the girl up and down.
"Molly, no!" Elle shouted, running forward to protect her. One jolt of electricity from Elle was all it took for Sylar to become disoriented long enough for Elle to grab Molly and run. By the time he looked back to where Elle and Molly had been standing seconds earlier, they had already run for it, leaving Sylar with a dull sting from the shock and leaving Maya sputtering desperately on the floor.
"Go ahead, Maya... kill me," Sylar taunted, stepping so close to her that she was laying inches from his feet. "The girls are gone; it's just me and you now. Kill me."
Maya looked up at Sylar with hatred in her eyes, her body shaking from fear and anger. She didn't even have time to stand up properly before the world around her suddenly went black. Minutes later, Sylar wiped the blood from his lips and kicked the remains of Maya's body out of his way.
