It was engrossing and entertaining. However I can see why the Iranians would be pissed off with the portrayal of the Persians. I know the Spartans regarded the Persians as decadent, and so maybe certain things were put in to make them look that way to a modern audience, plus the Spartans’ intolerance for physical deformity had to be contrasted

hi, sorry for the late reply, Tate Modern sounds good, what sort of time. Monday evening I'm planning to go to a English/French/miscellaneous music session in the George Inn, in London Bridge, you'd be welcome to come, but I tend to play lots, rush over for a couple of minutes to talk, and then run back because their playing an irrestible tune! :)
