Irredeemable Clark/Bruce fluff with bonus OOC Clark POV, I'm afraid.
Rated mature.
For the latest
contrelamontre challenge; has jack-all to do with Easter.
(
I'm sitting in my costume, on the edge of Bruce's bed, as if that way it won't actually count. )

The egg stuck back, unfortunately - right after the Flash remarked that he'd seen a movie like that, once.
Classic, I swear.
Also:
By the time we'd returned to the Watchtower, Bruce had worked up a decent sulk.
Because I adore the idea that Clark sees it as a sulk whereas the rest of us might call it a snarl or something and be worried and/or scared. Go Clark!
But this is my favorite line:
The other point is that there's something peculiarly nasty about seeing an evil alien trying to crawl down your best friend's throat, especially when you've had... somewhat similar thoughts.Because pervy thoughts about Batman should always be three steps removed from the evil alien fight they just had. But, honestly, it just fit seamlessly with the rest of the kind of stream of consciousness thing you had going on and I think you settled very comfortably into this Clark's skin ( ... )

Very cute, and the mood swing spanning the time from showering to bed proves how mercurial Bruce can be in his sulks, which made me smile all the more.

*grin* It's very true, isn't it? Kind of draws all the attention there. Love Clark's flustered stream-of-consciousness and how she keeps trying to shy away from thinking too much even though I strongly suspect he knows exactly what this is heading towards. :)
