Are they making the liveaction movie? My friend says it's cancelled indefinitely, but I don't know....

The problem with the film seemed to be two fold: cast and script.

They released all but a few of the cast from their contracts and the script allegedly needed work.

Their rumored casting choices woulda given anyone cause to worry about the film's marketability, IMO. DJ Cotrona as Superman? He's like 5'9"... The rumored batman, model/actor/heir to the Armand Hammer fortune, was 6'5"...

With that cast maybe it's just as well, but if the writers strike is over soon they may be able to salvage it and start to shoot before the fall.
