Fantastic Stuff sir. See I would totally read a whole Graphic Novel of that sort of stuff (well after buying it first obviously).
Mention must be mase to your art style which I really like. I still have that Crisis OIE pic you posted a while ago, saved to my memory stick. Good stuff

Have a good weekend yourself and as for the National, I tend to pick the ones with the nicest racing kit!

Excellent Kirby-ish visages, in thumbnail form they look just like pages from the Fantastic Four black and white reprints!

Also, I was there at that ATP - it was a pretty good one. Getting to see Television, Yo La Tengo, Arkestra and Lambchop made me pretty happy.

- thanks very much - if i was gonna do a gollected edition i'd take yr quote out of gontext & stick it on the dustjacket...!

i went to four ATP weekends in a row - saw lots of great music & got v.fond of the beach at gamber sands - but wot i remember most = just having a laff & joke w/my pals

- do you still go...? - i'd never say never again but i think these days i'm too old or not hardcore enuff for the gonstant boozing & lack of sleep etc

I'm not an expert on these matters, but I believe a horse will win.

Flimsy is good.

I think this is the first example of your art I've seen, Martin (at least in a decade or two. Maybe some of it is in some long-ago zines from Steve but my memory is terrible.) Very distinctive Kirbyesque style but I think lettering that much text would exhaust me. Do you draw every day, every week, once in a while, or what?

hi mike - tho i was never never a prolific fan artist i usta hack out bits for fanzines & apazines ( & later my own small press publications ) in the 80s & 90s & early 2000s - funnily enuff, in my youth i think i did a gouple of pisspoor spot illos to accompany a piece of yours on joe sinnott in an issue of chain reaction

my claim to "fame" = that martin skidmore took pity on me & let me do a cover for his zine fantasy advertiser in 1986 ( w/painstaking colouring by SW ) - you can see it in this post:
http://worldofagwu.livejournal.com/18512.html

i hardly draw anything much AT ALL these days - once yakking on the internet replaced zines & apas in my life the "urge" seemed to disappear ( - but i am in the early stages of "planning" a 2 or 3 page strip for the tribute bapa to steve - we'll see if i actually get my finger out in time )
