the oxfam in Manchester (big on off picadilly) had some Blakes7 comics a couple of weeks ago - might still have for all i know... but i couldn't spring them at ... well they were over £1.50 each, I'm sure.

Oxfam are particularly inclined towards being overly optimistic about pricing, I think, and people outside comics have no real clue exactly what is valuable (I don't have very much idea myself), so if something is decades old, they hope.

I have been rudely awakened to some current prices on ebaY the past couple of days, with the classic The Witching Hour No. 1 eluding my wallet, sadly. Howe'er, I may well post an old review of Amazing Adventures No. 18, which I upgraded today courtesy of the same source. Possibly with a compare-and-contrast exercise vis-a-vis the immortal Apeslayer.

hi tim - i'd like to read yr review of Amazing Adventures no.18 please, or anything else you might like to post for that matter ( - the last entry i could find on yr livejournal was from 12th january! i was flattered to see that it mentioned me & jenni, under the title "the young transvestites")

ebay: that gene colan dr strange sketchagraph i was bidding on went for 180 dollars! ( - far too rich for my blood)

I'll host them on Flickr, highlight them on livejournal first usually. The three-comics-published-in-a-day stint can be found here and I hope to get other works over to join them.

Only to say: Yes, I heard the Are You Being Served quotation in Dr Who. A great relief from the very boring action. If it were just DW and Martha talking it would be a more agreeable shaw.
