Hurray for the return of Rome! I hope they do a recap as I can't remember where we left it all (other than JC being moidered of course which I think most viewers had rather seen coming anyway).

"mark antony & atia of the julii - when dey met, it wuz MOIDER!"

the main thing i remember (apart from caesar's death) = kevin mckidd's wife niobe committing suicide ( - or was she pushed? ) - she came back from the dead in torchwood but i don't spose they've got those magic gloves in rome - now you mention it, i can't remember what happened to my fave titus pullo - i spect we were left dangling somehow

Last I remember he was heading for the hills with that silent slave girl to settle into a happy Roman life of farming and fornication. Though he was also on that REALLY REALLY bad BBC drama Lifeline being haunted by his girlfriend's husband.

- he couldn't be allowed a happy ending, could he? - i expect the child support agency will track him down for cleopatra's baby

i missed lifeline ( one of my better decisions by the sound of it )

The Bextor video continues to fascinate. Why on earth have they slowed her down so it looks like she's wading through treacle? It only emphasises her baby giraffe 'skipping'. Poor old Soph. The album remains excellent (and I shall blog it on poptimists at some point in the vein of the TashBed album).

i'm going to have to go back & study that vid, aren't i? - i usually blame the giddyoldgoat for my ongoing fascination w/"the bextor" but if you keep this up, yr going to have to take yr share of the responsibility ( - ie looking forward to yr bext blog )

baby giraffe = nearly spot on, maybe it shld be anorexic baby giraffe...?

I watched Boston Legal for the first time yesterday, and quite enjoyed it. It has Rene Auberjonois (Odo out of ST:DS9) in it, who is a friend of my friend Sharon.

- he is in A LOT of things ( i first remember seeing him in soap spinoff benson ) - he must be one of the hardest working men in showbusiness

the blessed trinity of denny crane/alan shore/shirley schimdt in b.legal = a delight to me - do you think you'll watch more...? ( - i've got fi & nigel's season one dvds - i'm sure they wldn't mind me passing them on )

Yeah, I will watch more, if I notice it on - I caught it on a channel I don't normally check, on a browse when I wanted something to watch.

Rene A was a pretty permanent fixture of Robert Altman's rep company from the late 60s to the mid 70s

the continuity announcer on Channel 5 was introducing House tonight and included the observation that "there will be more bloody scenes than usual" in the programme

I look forward to her intro to Porn: A Family Business

this episode featured the Shelly Duvall looky-likey waiteress out of the Splenda advert ("ya heard uv sugar, Earl?") as a romany mom

Huge Lorry couldn't resist slipping in the term 'they're trying to gyp me' in the TV equivalent of a stage whisper
