Help! Last name conundrum

Dec 30, 2006 22:22

I'm trying to solve the last name debate with Lisa. Lisa posted her own poll and we're officially tied. If you voted in hers, please don't vote again.

Poll Last Name

Thanks! :-D

Edit: By the way, this is not a popularity contest. We just want to know which one has a better ring to it.

Rochelle and I (and our other housemates) think both are a mouthful, and wonder why you don't go by Kroncoff or Conbeck. But find the first one easier to say. :-)

lol...Hi Rochelle!

The problem is that we both want to keep our names. But we want to join them too, you know? We've thought of both Kroncoff and Conbeck and Kronboff even. lol...and don't really like any of them.

But we don't want to combine them. :-( We both want to keep our names but also want to join them when we get married. That's why we need help deciding which combination sounds better.

Oh, good, you don't hate me for putting hers first. :)

Congrats on your upcoming union!

As for the name thing:

My suggestions would be as follows:
1. Go to the anagram finder at http://www.villainy.com/ana/anagrams.html, put your last names in, and try your luck. (Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did, there seemed to be a lot of euphemisms for male anatomy concealed in your combined names, which is a little ironic.)
2. Pick a new name based on something you both like. (Yes, we're going out the the Chocolates tonight, they're such a nice couple.)
3. Pick one name and go with that.
4. Keep your own names.
5. If you must go the hyphenated route, then how about one of you go one way and one of you go the other? That would make it totally fun, one of you would be Ms. Concoff-Kronbeck, one would be Ms. Kronbeck-Concoff.

Good luck whatever you choose!

LMAO. You know, if you go with the automatic settings on the anagram thing, you come up with two words:

Concern
Knocker

While they are both amusing to me, I'm not sure our parents would laugh as hard. hehehe.

How's life treatin ya?
