Looks like we are going to lose Galveston. Again.
One hundred and eight yeas, and 3 days since a different hurricane wiped off the map.

Galveston has a 20 foot seawall, waves are already 22 ft. Ike is still hundreds of miles away.
Fuck.

Das Uber Van broke down Monday (Starter) , costing me $350 that I did not need. I walked 4.8 miles home, in boots that no longer fit correctly (I've lost enough weight so that my boots don't fit right width wise) and have enormous blisters on my feet.
