I'm on board with Empire almost purely for Taraji Henson.

Sleepy hollow...I don't know anymore. I get enough enjoyment out of it to keep watching, but that's all I can really say these days.

She was amazing. Everyone was, really, in terms of acting, she stood out.

And yup, that's pretty much how I feel. I can no longer recommend it to people, but I haven't stopped watching it myself (yet).

I am rooting for Empire to do well, because one of the creators is Attica Locke, whose debut novel (Black Water Rising) was a great crime tale, and who I once met at a book thing and she was a sweetheart. I've not seen it, and probably won't - am hopeless at keeping up with series TV - but here's hoping it lives up to the name.

Yes! I haven't read 'Black Water Rising', but I just read a different book of hers ('The Cutting Season') and really enjoyed it. It's one of the reasons I checked out the show too. And it's so cool to her she's nice in person.
