Oh man, I was just rereading the previous chapters yesterday, so awesome timing right there. I loved the image of Patrick guarding the firescape and heckling his boys.

and oh, the Jersey faction. I adore them all and have some hilarious montages of Gerard and Frank sword fighting going in my head right now.

*bounces* I love this universe and I was all giddy with joy when I saw you had posted more of it. I'm an old BtVS fan, so vampires? Are one of my favourite things EVER.

I was honestly prepared for Bob, Ray and Brian to be more apprehensive than they were, but I think it makes sense for them to react the way you wrote them. Ray may be wary, but he'd never be hostile, and Bob has seen to much, and I like that Ray relies on Bob's judgement so much in this. Also love that Frank is still young enough to be an idealist -- hunters: good, vampires: bad.

Also? Gerard and Frank sword fighting? I don't know if it's a) the funniest, b) the hottest, or c) the most alarming thing I can imagine. Possibly a combination of the three.

I really like the interplay between the My Chem guys, how you use it to show more aspects on who and what they are. And I'm looking forward to Frank and Gerard sparring with equal amounts of trepidation and glee :-)
