I read your chatter and wanted to read your work. harlotbug3 September 25 2009, 18:42:25 UTC
This reminded me of a "lost" track by Skinny Puppy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ7_1UyYZnk

lost, because it contained a monologue by Timothy Leary and sampling copyrights were funny back in 1992.

Skinny Puppy is a big name among people who like to find beauty in ugly music, but if that's not your thing just know that the sample included Leary thoughts on "checking your baggage" before a "trip." I'm not the stoner around the flame, and I take stoners with a rock of salt, but I thought I'd respond with what your poem made in me rather than what I make of your poem.

For a change.

I'm a skinny puppy fan. i was going to say huge, but that's not it. when i'm in the mood for skinny puppy, nothing else will do.

I really like the 'lost track'. it goes really well with the poem.

and i like to know what my poetry, when i write it makes people think. and i like to know what people think of it.

Favorite album? Plans to catch them on tour this winter?

Before I give feedback on a poem I like to get a feel for what the author believes the function of poetry should be and what the function of their poetry could be.

Without some context we'd just be blowing raspberries at each other in a hurricane.

I don't usually like poetry, but I really enjoyed reading this piece.

I really loved these lines
its a long road from here to there
and then from dark into light.
