Oh thank freaking GOD that they weren't actually married.

I must say that I originally thought that perhaps Sheldon and Penny had really been the ones to get married, but then Leonard had been super whiney about it and grabbed the wedding ring from Sheldon, making them later think that he and Penny were actually married.

But I like your idea better. =)

And I absolutely LOVED the "Midnight train going anywhere" part. That was really quite hilarious.
