Awwww. This was so sweet and amazing :). I loved city boy Byron grumbling about nature. Reminds me of myself when camping. Which is why I never go camping, lol.

Also, poor boys, getting interrupted by the lawn ornament thief. Tsk!

I enjoyed this greatly! You write them both so well. The concept is cute, too.

One thing though: barn owls don't hoot, they make this... horrifying screeching noise. But that wouldn't really be appropriate for the atmosphere, so carry on ;)
