Jamel Shabazz is a photographer famous for documenting the eary days of hip hip music, through portraits. He has several books of his photos out including 'back in da day' and his work has been shown at the contact festival of photography.
hip hop might not be your thing, but i suspect the talk will be interesting. It's free as far as i know and at tyerson. The engineering building is on church at Gould.
