Theory of Relativity (prologue)

Okay, so after the quotes of other night I picked one of the stories to focus on, and I'm not going to deviate from this story until I'm done (which one was it? I'm not tellin'). But...I'm nearly at 4,000 words and I'm not even done with the first few sections. It's going to be a monster to finish, both in terms of word count and the amount of time ( Read more... )

*offers tissue*

I've written fluff before! My other fics have all had a much higher fluff-to-dead-Mohinder ratio!

I was supposed to get online, check the perimeters for an assignment, write the assignment, and go party Mardi Gras style. Then I saw this and couldn't resist... And now I just want to cuddle and not be sad...

I'm completely enthralled. In a few absolutely lovely paragraphs you have managed to do so. I'm so sad about Mohinder, but the last line intrigues me like nothing else. {And I couldn't resist using this icon for Molly's sake... ^_~}

You = LOVE

I hope that England is treating you well, but if this bit of lovely is any indication, we can either expect you back traumatized, completely ecstatic, or about to kill and capable of controlling minds. The last one kinda intrigues me as well... ^_^

Thank you so much!!! And I can't wait for whatever you bring to us next!

Ooooh.
I do have concrit feedback. But it'll have to wait a bit, for the coherency to come back.

Thank you so much! I always ask for concrit, and I think that this is the only time I've ever gotten it. It's kind of the unspoken rule on the internet that we're expected to never say anything bad in the comments ever, which has always frustrated me because I'm doing this as exercises. While the good comments are great, it's always excellent to get perspective on the flaws I have that I can't see right away because I'm too close to it all, you know.
I think you're right about the monologue. That's the problem with in media res, I guess, that you've got to get that exposition somehow. I'm just going to have to get more clever about how I do it.
And I don't really know what the hell I was thinking with whelp. I haven't even watched Pirates of the Carribbean recently.

I do beta work for people, so I'm used to giving nitpicky feedback. I love it to death, so let me know if you're ever in need.

This was so sentimental and sweet! I'm excited to see how this...affects the characters. *keeps quiet*
