klgaffney Give me (at least) two characters from different fandoms that you know I'm familiar with and I'll give you a dialogue happening between the two of them. Without justifying how the crossover would work, how their worlds clashed, or how they could even meet each other. Just a silly crossover conversation with no backstory, for fun.

"I know what it's like to keep secrets, you know," she said, and he looked up from the history book.
"What makes you think I have secrets?" he asked, his voice even quieter than the Costa Verde library dictated.
She shrugged. "That look in your eyes," she said. "That tightness in your shoulders, the way you always fidget when you can't see what's behind you."
"You've been watching me," he said.
"Let's just say I'm on the look out for other people who are special. You're not alone, Jake. You could be the part of something much larger than yourself."
This was sounding a little more like The Sharing than he was comfortable with. "I don't want to be a part of something," he hissed.
She reached across the table and took his hand, but he pulled it away. She looked straight into his eyes. "I've seen the way you flinch whenever someone mentions your brother. Is he working for them, too ( ... )

Now I kind of want to write some Heroes/Animorphs crossover. A) Because neither Claire's nor West's respective powers would actually be of any real use to the Animorphs, which would be v. funny (although Micah could help maaaaybe a little, and Molly would be totally handy to have around) and B) Because a Claire/Rachel fight would be epic.
Icon love.

"Multiplatform lingual flux generator," he said. "I know."
Ax blinked his eyes at the boy. < You know a lot, > he said.
The boy shrugged. "When it comes to machines, yeah."
< What else do you know about them? > Ax asked. This boy's powers were fascinating! Terrifying, yes, but still fascinating. Ax was too busy caught up in technology glee to worry about a human catching up to all of Andalite technology in minutes.
The boy looked around the scoop until his eyes caught on the microwave. He walked over to it and fiddled for a second, and then touched the computer screen again.
"I just added a wireless internet connection to your microwave," the boy said. "Now you can set it using a program I put on your desktop, all without getting up from your computer."
< I can eat warm Cinnabuns without ever moving? > Ax asked.
"Well, you'd have to get up to get it out of the thing, but yeah."
