It seems so fitting, somehow, that Sam would end up with her rack and locker :)

This fic is both so sweet and so nostalgic, that sense of everything having changed really shines through in every sentence, every little detail. Great job!

Thanks! That Sam ended up with her rack and locker was apparently something the writers were throwing around as part of his taking-over-her-life thing, but it wasn't ever established on screen....but I thought it was an awesome idea that's always stuck with me.

I can feel how weary Kara is here, poor thing. It really felt like she had no idea how to handle Sam being there, and like he knew it, and was okay with her not knowing. Him wearing her dogtags after taking his off say so much. Wonderful detail and such a simple, comfortable ending to a complicated time for them.
