Quiet on the set

elora_c and I are in the middle of a mad sprint through the Battlestar Galactica Season 3 DVDs that just came out, so we can be current by the time Season 4 premieres this Friday. Partly; but watching bloopers, you know it's not hard and fast because there are a lot of times where the actors crack the crew up. I think as much as they're trained to wait for "CUT!", they're also probably engrossed in the performance for a scene like that.

I guess the prop-guy is sitting there thinking "Oh, please, please make sure we got that shot on film. I'm the only one who knows we only have one chance at that..."

From what I've been told, camera crews are like emergency room doctors/[critic in Ratatouille] at Jackson Memorial, they only get impressed like every 27 years or so when something goes very very wrong/funny.
