I definitely believe that fate was on our family football fanatics' side when the prime rib was ready early. I think the whole evening turned out great. I enjoyed watching the game and having no grumpiness from my husband!

Thanks for the link to that article, what a hoot. But it is true, the Eagles are THE #1 priority for so many people (including the one I am married to.) I truly have come to understand and accept that, as well as enjoy football myself. One Sunday afternoon we had to go to Jeff's friends' wedding before the game was over. Of course, we listened to it on the radio in the car as long as possible. The groom had been taking a lot of abuse for getting married on a game day. When Jeff signed our names in the guest book, he also wrote "Bye Week!" in the comments column.
