For bonus points, it should be pointed out that Mark Hamill only plays a Jedi for a very short time, as Yoda claims that he only graduates after he has faced Vader.

I always thought this was a pretty tough graduation test. I can't help thinking that in the days of the Old Republic, Padawan weren't routinely expected to complete a final assignment as tough as "defeat the Sith Lord who singlehandedly destroyed the entire Jedi order." Kind of like making winning the Paris-Dakar rally a condition of passing your driving test.

I figured the final test had always been "Kill your father," and Luke was just unluckier than most kids.

Was Alec Guinness not obscure enough? Granted, not as clever as Oz but still...If I'm dropping any of those it's Hamill for sure.

Off the top of my head I came up with Alec Guinness only. Other than that, I'm not great with names: "It's that guy! Who was in the Star Wars films!"
