As I promised a few days ago, I just watched the Battlestar Galactica miniseries, courtesy of Netflix. I thought it would be interesting to see where it began (this time, anyway) before it ends tomorrow. And, honestly, I thought it would be fun. If there's one thing I really appreciate about the show, it's that it doesn't show the characters as persevering through some sort of heroic temperment. Rather, they just stubbornly grind on because it's the only thing than can do short of rolling over and giving up (which a few of them do anyway).
Leems and I finally caught up on our backlog and are only a week behind at this point. I figure we'll have to watch the finale this weekend before we get clobbered with spoilers.
