laviergedeneige  this is what I mean about Europe.  This photo is from Bruges and is really set for tourists more than anything else, but there are still great market towns where I sometimes dream of being.

What a great picture!

When I was kid I wished I could make lace in this style too but it does require huge patience. Patience I don't have and never had... When I see big table cloths I can hardly imagine how someone could sit there for hours, weeks or probably months and make it just by hands.

I crocheted some, but I didn't use the right thread to really make it delicate. It was really more of a learning experience. Bruge is a cool place though.
