I see what you mean about Soule, when I think about it. I tend to associate him with the IceWind Dale and Giants: Citizen Kabuto soundtracks the most, simply because they're the ones I've played the most of, and the two do have some distinct themes in their scores. Perhaps that's where Soule is succeeding where Uematsu is failing, then? Uematsu, I would argue, is all about writing 'tunes', and let's face it.. Hearing the same two-minute tune over and over again for 30 minutes straight can get rather grating if it's not insanely catchy. Insanely catchy? *clicks on the Lonely Rolling Star link* XD
Incidentally, you don't happen to have copies of either the full Total Annihilation or Impossible Creatures soundtracks that I could snag, do you? ^_~

How big is CoP? Looks great so far with Bibiki Bay, Emptiness, new music, stuff... but I've been hearing mixed reviews. --;
