I missed your post last night but congratulations! I'm so glad this nonsense is behind you. God, that cop sounds like an ass (and my brother is a police officer so i tend to be pretty protective of them).

Your poor car. I was hit by a drunk driver years ago and my car looked quite similar. :((

Inorite?! I love the Pens normally but omg, GOALIE FIGHT! First one in 4 years. DiPietro looks like a little kid next to Brett Johnson. The cop really was an ass. He was very dismissive at the site(to the point that I basically had to hold my sister back from smacking him with his condescending bullshit). In court, he was just as bad, going on about how there were no outside factors that led to the accident. He really made it sound like the other guy was just driving along and I randomly decided to pick on him and make him late to his pick up.

I get you on the law enforcement thing. My cousin is a border patrol agent and all of my siblings and cousins are in the military/getting out to be police officers. My uncles are all police officers in NYC. But dude, this guy was above and beyond on the douchebagness.

Thankfully, now that I have the salvage title, my car will look brand new again! The only damage is exactly what you see. They totalled my car for two headlights, a hood and one fender kit. Fuckers.

Thanks! And yeah, you should see how I'm driving right now - not at all with my normal attitude... the one that definitely matches my type of car. I normally drive fast and I'm all about the speed limit right now. Which feels weird but at least I'm careful.
