Other than a short 5 hours at Fry's so as not to lose my health insurance, I've had the past 2.5 days off. I've spent them all in my pajamas. I've been reading a lot, which is epic awesome. I'm attempting to work from home today but, alas, the remote login website is not allowing me to log in. I'm stuck with only email access where I'm exchanging

There's definitely room. I can totally see them hitting up random news stories and, let's face it, it's LA - there's always going to be awesome news!

Personally, I'd love to see an outtake with them bantering at the scene and then Kirk getting to be all business while Bones makes faces or something from behind the camera. Just seeing htem work together would be brilliant. I just re-read it, again, and I keep adoring it more.

I've read all the kirk/mccoy ones you've recced :(. I might have to branch out into chekov/sulu. I've read quite a few of those but I'll have to see what ones I haven't.

Re: fics, I have a bunch of rec bookmarks on my delicious page. I have an actual rec site, but there's like 30 fics I haven't had time to put up there yet.

I rec'd one of your fics (I friended your journal so I could be sure to catch any new ones :)), and I have many bookmarked for reading. I'm hoping I have time this weekend. :)

my guess is that there's a dearth of fic because it's back-to-school time. I know I have next to no mental energy for fic reading, much less fic-writing...

Hopefully. She's 13 so we're limited in what we can treat her with at this point, which is the only sucky bit.

That's a good point. Plus, there's like 8billion fests so I'm sure that there will come a time that I will be able to consume to my hearts content, once more.

I'm writing stuff but none of it is post-ready yet. I have some fest stuff to write next, but, hopefully, I can get some stuff that can actually be posted done soon. LOL
