This is just terrible. There's so much pain and confusion for parents and trans children already, this sort of attack just exacerbates the situation so much. :(

Good news for Chipotle and Chipotle lovers, but that's about it. :/

I did find this is on a link trail and found it interesting. If you can, I recommend listening to the broadcast. It's just tough because it's clear that both sets of parents genuinely love and want to help their children and this just a heartbreaking thing ( ... )

Inorite? It's not like those kids are already going through shit that's scary enough for adults. Jesus fucking Christ on toast. WTF?! And where does teh management get off on saying that it isn't a BFD, that this is their SOP, that they're equal opportunity offenders? Really? So it's a-ok to insult kids and encourage people to beat them with shoes and shit?!

I really hate people. Like yesterday, I was so pissed at this that I was snarling at everyone. I hate people.

This is sick. Like, it actually makes me feel sick to my stomach. I am outraged that they were not fired, but at the same time, not surprised. I'm also surprised that your post is the first I've even heard about this.

And to add to the sad-making, I can't go to the GLAAD link because their site is blocked by mywork. Forbidden Category reason: Gay & Lesbian Issues. Gee, thanks workplace. Guess I will be re-starting my job search now. >:|

I'm not surprised either but dude. WTF. You don't get to say shit like that. I didn't see it mentioned on my flist either. That pisses me off, too. It's over at unfunnybusiness on JF.

Thankfully, there's some posting going on on my flist now but, seriously, people need to start getting mad at shit like this. Just like when that bitch said that Matthew Shepard's death was a hoax, people need to get mad.

And dude. WTF. srsly? Your workplace has that site blocked? Mine has like afterelton and stuff blocked due to "sex" but they do discuss the sexxing so I can see that. Then again, something like 40% of our workplace is LGBTQ

One of my best friends is trans, and omg he goes through so much SHIT, that to say he should have been bullied EARLIER??!? wtf. I just. this sort of stuff just makes me cry. like the Tiller murder. Why do people have to hate things that are different? I saw this earlier, and I'm still so fucking upset that I can't even bring myself to deal with it.

I think I'm going to puke with sadness and rage.

and then eat Chipotle.

I had Sonic for breakfast today. It was AWESOME. Then I called AT&T and said thank you for pulling your advertising as a follow up to my "I've been a customer for 14 years and so help me god if you have been using my money to advertise hate speech, I am leaving and never coming back" conversation.

I'm so upset still but at least the massive response on the other post is helping me cope.
